Public schools normalize “insane” behaviors that undermine a child’s creativity and natural learning style, a homeschooling mother of four says in a video.
In 40 seconds, Sam Griffin, whose online handle is HomeSchoolSam, lists 12 examples, ranging from grouping children by age instead of ability to forcing boys to suppress movement.
Her other points include:
- asking children to ignore their natural curiosity and follow a rigid script;
- measuring intelligence with one standardized test; and
- training children to prioritize grades over actual understanding.
