The $10 million initiative is supported by Yale University, Southern Connecticut State University and New Haven Promise. The first cohort of fellows will be chosen in the next few months.
“Educators are indispensable, yet in our community, as with so many others across the country, we are dealing with an acute and ongoing shortage of teachers,” Yale University President Maurie McInnis said.
