Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry signed an executive order late last month which bans the teaching of critical race theory in the state’s public K-12 schools. Academics pounced on the executive order, making the common claim that CRT is an “advanced academic concept” taught at the graduate-school level, not in K-12 schools.
